Mixing Instructions for Custom Protection
To get the best performance from Anti Frost Windshield Washer Fluid, follow these mixing guidelines based on the level of freeze protection you need:

- For temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C), mix 2:1 ratio of Anti Frost and water.
- For temperatures down to -6°F (-21°C), mix a 1:1 ratio of Anti Frost and water.
- For temperatures down to 20°F (-7°C), mix a 1:3 ratio of Anti Frost and water.
- Always drain your existing washer fluid reservoir for the most effective results.
Most washer fluid tanks are 1 - 1.5 gallons (3.8-5.7 liters) in size. Please contact your dealership for exact capacity.
Anti Frost is designed to be used on its own. Mixing with other washer fluids or concentrates may cause streaking. Mix with regular tap water only.

Anti Frost: Usage Tips & FAQs
Why am I seeing streaks or residue on my windshield?
Anti Frost is formulated to wipe clear and streak free, and the vast majority of customers experience clean, residue free performance. In rare cases, streaking can occur due to conditions that vary from vehicle to vehicle, even when the dilution ratio is correct.
Residual washer fluid already in the system: Even a small amount left in the reservoir or lines can temporarily affect how Anti Frost behaves until it fully cycles out.
Mixing concentrates or adding additional cleaners: Anti Frost already contains detergents and conditioners. Adding any additional washer fluid concentrate can make the solution too strong and cause smearing.
Water used for mixing: Anti Frost is designed to mix best with normal tap water. Very soft water, distilled water, reverse osmosis water, or softened well water can reduce the film breaking action and lead to streaking.
Existing film on the windshield: Invisible residue from dealership fluids, automatic car wash waxes, silicone overspray, or road grime can cause any washer fluid to smear. Anti Frost can loosen that film, making it visible during the first few uses.
Washer system design: Some vehicles use low-volume or blade-integrated washer nozzles, which provide less rinsing action and can make any washer fluid more prone to smearing until the glass is fully cleaned.
Helpful reminder: If streaking persists after correct mixing and flushing, a manual glass cleaning (and wiping the wiper blades) usually resolves it.
Can I mix Anti Frost with Kristall Klar?
No. While both products are compatible with your washer system, they are not intended to be mixed together in the same reservoir. Anti Frost already contains cleaning agents, and adding Kristall Klar can increase detergent concentration and lead to residue or streaking.
Use only one washer fluid formula per fill.
What should I do if I experience streaking?
- Run the washer system until the reservoir is nearly empty
- Refill with a fresh batch of Anti Frost mixed according to the chart
- Use regular tap water for mixing
- Clean the windshield with a proper glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol
- Wipe the wiper blades with a damp cloth
In most cases, this resolves the issue quickly.
Is this a defect in the product?
No. Anti Frost is produced to strict specifications and is used by thousands of drivers without issue. When streaking occurs, it is almost always related to mixing, water type, the washer system design, or existing residue on the glass rather than a problem with the formula itself.
Can Anti Frost leave residue on paint?
When used normally, Anti Frost should not leave residue on glass or paint. If residue is visible on paint, it is typically the result of detergent concentration being too high or contamination already present on the surface.

I mixed it in a one bottle to one bottle of regular tap water ratio which according to the website/instructions should be good to go up to -6 degrees F. My washer fluid freezes on my windshield before the car is heated up. It was 9 degrees F outside. After it heats up though, it's does clean the windshield. It's not worth it at this price point to not work as stated.

I had put in some cheap walmart washing fluid before I could get this.It worked fine. The antifrost leaves afilm on the windshield. I will not be purchasing any more.

Less than ideal. Supposed to be streak free but be warned doesn’t work well with Teslas at all. They should advertise that better rather than being the type “for teslas” which this is not for teslas.

Some newer vehicles, including certain Tesla models, use a low-volume, wiper-integrated washer system (as noted in the FAQ located on the product page), which can affect how Anti Frost and many other washer fluids perform.

Great Window Wash Fluid. No need to add distilled water, just add tap. Haven't tested on snow of frost, but soon the weather will present that.

I use the Nextzett summer concentrate with distilled water and have been waiting for the winter concentrate to be available! I bought 6 to hold me over until the warmer weather. Streak-free and washes just like the summer concentrate which is very good.

The Anti Frost Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate 169 oz seems good but to get it to -20F is expensive and not in line with pricing from local stores. The fact that it is ethanol based can only go so far. Would like to see the price when mixed to come closer to the local retail bottles. Overall satisfied but will not likely purchase this again until the price comes down.

My Tesla says to only use ethanol based cleaners. Here in the US everything is methanol and is very toxic..even to touch it. This has a very pleasant scent, once diluted, and cleans the windshield quickly and leaves no streaks. I only wish this was available to buy locally. I will continue to buy this as it is the best you should use. I’ll order more as winter gets closer.

I found this product while trying to track down the original washer fluid in my volkswagon. This product is the closest I can find. It has a lemony cent and can be mixed to different levels of cold. I mix mine slightly less than 1:1 in the winter.
I ski every weekend in the very snowy Cascade mountains, and getting to the backcountry safely requires a clear windshield and good visibility. Driving through rain, sleet, and snow takes a lot of washer fluid. The Anti Frost fluid cuts through ice, frost, sleet, snow, and muck and evaporates quickly leaving no residue, just clear glass. It is so much better than the generic blue stuff from the local auto parts store. I mix it with Nextzett Kristall Klar washer fluid concentrate and distilled water to create an unbeatable combination of glass cleaning and defrosting.
It is cold where I live, this melts the ice off my windshield no problem. I like the smell, my wife hates it.

I mix this in a 2:1 ratio with distilled water, plus a dose of the Kristall Klar washer detergent, for an excellent winter washer fluid mix. Much, much better than any of the junk you can buy at a gas station.
