I use this stuff twice a year to keep the musty smell out of my expansion core. The included cap with the long tube attachment is great since the expansion core in my car is not easily accessible, even going through the cabin air filter box. For really dank cores, you might have to do this a couple times (I had to the first time). Easy to use, just follow the instructions on the can. The smell of this cleaner is STRONG and cleaning-chemical-citrus, so you definitely want to run the fans like the instructions say after the application and dwell periods; don't spray this stuff in if you need to drive somewhere right away, you will have regrets.

This product was easy to use and did exactly what it claims.

The product was very easy to use and mostly did what it said. It reduced the smell coming from my 2011 335i A/C system but didn’t eliminate it. Maybe it’s because of the product, maybe because of the way the 335i is designed relative to other cars. I wonder if a second application would do the trick but between the cost of the product and the need to remove the blower motor to get the product into the correct area in the HVAC system I’m not going to bother.

I couldn't figure out how to get to the product into the evaporator core, and I couldn't locate my drain tube, so I put it into the vents. It tells you to not put it into the vents, but that's the only option I had. I saw a You Tube video recommending to apply it through the vents. It helped a lot, but not completely. I assume it would have worked better if I would have been able to get it into the evaporator.

It took two 10-oz cans of Klima Cleaner to rid my 2012 SAV of the moldy mildew smell from the vents on start up. Had to remove the ac/heater blower fan in the passenger footwell to access the ductwork, but it was a straightforward and fairly simple process; despite the fact that I had to do it twice to achieve results.

The instructions on the 1z-usa.com page were helpful, along with a DIY video I found for my specific make.

The cap is a little tricky--I had to call the company the first time I used it.

And even though I have used it several times, sometimes I don't thread the tube quite right thru the fan vents to get it to the AC evaporator--that's why I always buy 2 cans at a time.
The only alternatives are to thread it thru from the bottom of the car--probably more difficult.
And I don't think anyone wants to take the time and effort to take things apart to expose the evaporator completely, at least not on a VW Golf like mine, or an Audi, which is probably very similar design

I have always appreciated the Klima Cleaner product. It works well and carries excellent reviews. It was a bonus to find it back online again , after a few months being absent. I gladly waited for it to return.

I bought Klima-Cleaner Air Conditioner Cleaner because the recent pickup that I have was a smokers pickup. It didn't have a air cabin filter either. I put in a retro fitted air cabin filter and removed the motor on the 2011 GMC Sierra. I cleaned the squirrel cage and put the Klima-Cleaner directly in to the part of the shaft that led to the inside coils. After it set for 20 minutes I put the air cabin filter back and the clean motor with the cleaned squirrel cage back in place. I seemed to blow better and smelled better. It wasn't that hard to remove the fan motor and put the cleaner directly on the coils , I think it was a better way do do it on this particular pickup. This was a smokers pickup for 7 years. So far I happy with the results.

The hose is too short to effectively get into the A/C core.

Great product, easy to use with the supplied extension hose. A must if you have any odor coming from your cars hvac. Leaves a very pleasant scent that is a little strong at first, but dies way down after 1 days time. Highly recommend Klima-Cleaner!

Over time, my 2005 Infiniti G35 developed a smell so foul, that my wife would not ride in the car with me. A non smoker car from new, but the smell was a mixture of a dead animal, and gym locker. Smell was there on either the AC or Heat setting. Please understand the smell was OFFENSIVE.... I changed the air filter, over time used three cans of Lysol, tried air freshners (without the smell of air freshners), tried running the heat for a whilein the summer. Nothing worked. I looked online found a forum thread that mentioned success with the Einzett Professional product. From there I found many favorable reviews, and decided to buy a can. It was out of stock for months everwhere, but noticed on the Eniszett site that it would be available Nov. 4. I pre -ordered and bought two cans; shot one down the center dash vents, with some also down the side vents (per the instructions of a YouTube video). I figured I would use the second can, per the can instructions, if the first (and easiest) attempt did not work. It has only been 5 days, but the smell is GONE. I do mean GONE. Early on, there is a faint lemon smell, but that goes away quickly. I still have the other can, just in case. I'll try to remember to post a follow up in a few months.
