Fingernail scratches underneath your car's door handles seem to appear out of nowhere. Here's how to remove them and make them look like new again.
What You'll Need:
Step 1
Prior to treating the area, make sure the surface is clean and dry.
Step 2
Pour a small amount of No. 1 Clean & Polish on a foam applicator pad and polish the area to be treated in an up and down motion until the polish nearly fades.
Apply Clean & Polish with foam applicator pad
Step 3
Buff the area with a clean microfiber cloth. The scratches should be gone. If not repeat the process.
After - Scratches gone
Fingernail scratches are also found around other handles and latches such as the trunk release handle. So be sure to remove those too!
You can also use the same process to remove any scratch on your car's paint that isn't so deep that you can see the primer (white or black color) or metal underneath. The general rule is that if you can feel it with your fingernail, then it's too deep and they only solution is painting the surface.
